"Cuff 'em and Stuff 'em"

FROM NAVARRE CORPORATION'S BCI AND FREMANTLEMEDIA ENTERPRISES COMES THE RENOWNED BRITISH COP DRAMA

"THE BILL"

Series One Goes On Duty June 5th

Los Angeles, CA - BCI, a Navarre Corporation Company, and FremantleMedia Enterprises are proud to announce the DVD release of Series One of "The Bill", the longest running and most successful police drama program on British television. The complete first season of this award-winning series will be released under the International Voyage brand and will be available on a four-DVD set for an SRP of $34.98. The announcement was made by Jeff Hayne, Director of Acquisitions, BCI.

"The Bill" continues to garner worldwide praise and we are excited to bring this compelling British program to our American audience," Hayne said. "This is just a taste of what we've been missing."

"The Bill", which has proven a big hit with audiences the world over, has held the British viewing public in its grip for over 20 years. Additionally, the series won a BAFTA, a National Television Award and a Royal Television Society Award. It's now time that we 'pay' attention to "The Bill"!

"The Bill" follows the daily lives of the men and women at Sun Hill Police Station as they fight against crime on the streets of London. Its ensemble of characters receive equal time, their stories interweaving to create each memorable episode. With high risks at work and high drama at home, "The Bill" is tough, fast-paced and brutally realistic.

Taking its name from the 'billhooks' policemen used to carry, "The Bill" is famous for its authenticity: the series keeps track of changes within the Metropolitan Police Force; even the police uniforms are genuine and are locked away for security reasons when not in use.

"The Bill" won't be caught flat-footed with these extras:
. 1 Hour Pilot Episode - "Woodentop"
. Behind The Creation Of The Bill - An insightful overview of the development and legacy of this groundbreaking series
. The London Beat Featurette - A look at the success of various U.K. crime/drama television series including "The Bill", "The Sweeney" and "Callan"
