I DREAM OF JEANNIE:
THE COMPLETE FOURTH SEASON

Four-Disc Box Set Features 26 Magically-Enhanced Episodes

Culver City, Calif. (June 25, 2007) - The penultimate season of one of the most beloved sitcoms in television history comes to DVD when Sony Pictures Home Entertainment debuts I Dream of Jeannie: The Complete Fourth Season on September 4. The four-disc box set features all 26 episodes from the colorful fourth season and will be priced at $39.95 SRP.

Back for more magical mayhem are Barbara Eden (TV's "Harper Valley PTA") in her career-defining role as the bellybutton-hiding Jeannie, and Larry Hagman (TV's "Dallas") as the hapless Major Tony Nelson. Also included in the fun are Bill Daily (TV's "The Bob Newhart Show") as Tony's best friend and secret-keeper Major Roger Healey, Hayden Rorke (The Unsinkable Molly Brown) as nosey Dr. Bellows, and Emmaline Henry (Rosemary's Baby) as his wife, Amanda Bellows.

Inspired by other supernatural shows of the time (particularly "Bewitched"), I Dream of Jeannie began its five-season run on September 18, 1965. The series cleverly blended romantic and slapstick comedy with outstanding special effects, making the show an immediate success. Eden and Hagman are so perfectly matched that their good-natured, high-spirited antics continue to attract new generations of fans after more than 40 years on the air.

Fourth season high jinks include Jeannie guest-starring on 'Laugh-In", the return of Jeannie's evil sister (Eden in a black wig), and the first appearance of Jeannie's magic dog. Guest stars include Richard Mulligan (TV's "Soap," "Empty Nest"), Dick Sargent (TV's "Bewitched"), Harold Gould (TV's "Rhoda"), Susan Howard (TV's "Dallas"), and members of the cast of "Laugh-In" (Arte Johnson, Judy Carne, Gary Owens, George Schlatter) as themselves.
