The concluding episodes of a British comedy gem

TWO'S COMPANY

Complete Series Four

With its January 31, 2006, release of Two's Company, Complete Series 4, Acorn Media brings the concluding episodes of a comedy gem from the archives of British television to the North American home video market. Stage and screen legend Elaine Stritch and British leading man Donald Sinden battle it out until the final bell of this hilarious comedy series. She's a brash American writer living in London who hires a supremely capable old-school English butler and then struggles to get the upper hand and the last word. The more they spar, the more their genuine affection for each other shines through. Cultures clash and sparks fly as she pits her blunt anti-British, pro-feminist views against his old-school attitudes and witheringly polite putdowns. DVD bonus features include Stritch and Sinden biographies, and cast filmographies. Acorn's DVD single, priced at $24.99 SRP, contains all seven episodes in Series Four and runs 173 minutes. Pre-book is December 20, 2005.

Two's Company inspired an American adaptation entitled The Two Of Us, starring Mimi Kennedy as the American celebrity and Peter Cook as her imperturbable English butler.

Two's Company, Complete Series 4 and other releases from the series are available from select retailers, catalog, and direct from Acorn at 1-888-870-8047 or www.acornonline.com.
